What?
Food Hack Lab is an open laboratory dedicated to the study, development and dissemination of technologies related to the entire food value chain, from a maker and open source point of view.
It was founded in 2015 as part of Hirikilabs, the Tabakalera Urban Digital Culture Laboratory, dedicated to the social, critical, active and collaborative use of technology. It arose, in particular, from the Hirikilabs Plaza sessions that propose an open use of the laboratory, materializing various projects as an open group.
Subsequently, in 2016, it adopted an independent legal personality without altering its headquarters or its nature and was established as a registered non-profit association.
